Aviation Photographer, Pilot
Pilot Portraits was created to document the flying careers of both private pilots and commercial businesses. After years working in the advertising and commercial art industry, Phillip Angert became a private pilot and began his portrait series of aviators all over the world. He has worked with pilots in the USA, Europe and South America.
We offer a few packages depending on the individual needs of the pilots we work with.
The Air-to-Air package includes the preflight planning, professional photography shoot, second plane/pilot and a large framed Photograph for the office/hangar. Videography is also available of each flight from the lead or chase plane. For each pilot, a custom website photo gallery is provided with access to all downloadable images.
The Ground based package includes professional photography without a second plane/pilot in formation. These photos cover all Low-Pass approaches and aerial images taken from the ground, as well as professional Portraits of the pilot with the airplane. Since only one airplane is involved, this package is priced much less than the formation flight above.
